About Me

I am Ajedidah Mwanzia a graduate in BBIT from The Techincal university of Kenya.
I have also acquired professional certifications in different areas of specialization
These include: CCNA,Gsuite Adminstration and cloud associate certificate.During
my free time I enjoy modelling ,reading especially neuroscience/science related books, watching
movies syfy to be specific they open me up to the power of imagination and travelling .
Lastly I find joy in mentoring the highschool students through the Truth Mentorship Society.

Enrolling for programming class for me was both personal and growth related.
I lost my bestfriend who was senior programmer at cellulant during the dusit attack in 2019.
I'd say back then he tried pushing me to be a programmer but at the moment I wasn't ready.
I being able to do this now is in honour of their memory. I have also always desired to work for
Spacex,Tesla,NASA,Google or Microsoft and acquiring the skills in programming
is one step closer to achieving that dream .Finally i'd like to also work on personal projects
that i have been meaning to do but couldn't due to lack of the necessary skills.

My story

2022-uptodate: Student software developerment

  • Work with the TMs and fellow developers to develop and maintain web applications
  • Accept projects and see them through to completion in a timely manner
  • Maintain active communication with the our pair and others about project status, timeline, and details
  • Maintain active communication with the group/Team and others about desired features, issue tracking, and project status

2020-2022: Network Administrator

  • Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Works in close cooperation with Systems Analyst and Lead Information Technology Technician to facilitate management of computer labs
  • installing any software needed for each semester and/or special seminars.
  • Orders software, hardware, and other supplies as required for the institutional computer network, personal computers, and computer labs.

2018-2020: IT Technician

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organisation
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
  • Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
  • Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
